Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim vows to ensure all states, including Kelantan, receive due attention through people-centric policies and development initiatives.
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stressed the Madani Government will ensure every state receives due attention.
He said this follows a courtesy call from Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud at his office.
Anwar said discussions focused on strengthening federal-state cooperation to assist Kelantan’s people.
“Emphasis is given to improving quality of life, expanding economic opportunities and implementing fair and balanced development,” he said in a Facebook post.
The government will centre its policies on the people’s interests and a more secure future for all.
In a separate post, Anwar said he also received Penang Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Ramli Ngah Talib.
The meeting at Seri Perdana served to strengthen longstanding ties and exchange views on Penang’s development.
Discussion also emphasised public well-being and the state’s potential as a driver of national economic growth.
