A 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the northern coast of Peru, according to GFZ, with the quake occurring at a shallow depth of 10 km

An ​earthquake of magnitude ​5.8 ‌struck near ⁠the coast of ⁠northern Peru on Saturday, ‌the ⁠German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) ‌said.

The quake was at a depth ⁠of ‌10 km (6.21 miles), ​GFZ ⁠said. – MORE TO COME
