ANKARA: A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit the Gulf of California region in Mexico on Friday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
Anadolu Agency reported the quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) off the coast of Bahia Kino in the state of Sonora.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage, it added.-Bernama
