PAPAR: GTA chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Sabahans qualify to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia if they have the necessary support.
He said the Federal Constitution does not limit the top post to any quarters.
"Anyone can become the Prime Minister of the country including Sabah people who are eligible.
"But the problem is popularity, whether there is support or not," he said in a talk in Papar on Monday.
