Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) on Wednesday refuted a viral social media post claiming a major blackout will happen statewide from 2pm-4pm or 6pm-8pm.
On its official Facebook page, the utility firm explained that load shedding would only be conducted when the power supply demand exceeds the power generation.
“SESB will ensure the electricity supply in Sabah and Labuan is stable,” it said.
