
Kota Kinabalu: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick called on entrepreneurs in the sports industry to take advantage of the special financing under the Sports Industry Financing Scheme (SPIS) implemented by Bank Rakyat.
He said the scheme is an initiative of the Madani Budget 2024, and Bank Rakyat, an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development (Kuskop) has been appointed as the implementing agency.
“It is aimed to help entrepreneurs in the sports industry in terms of working capital to succeed and grow their businesses.
“Therefore, I hope that with the existence of SPIS, it will open up more opportunities for those who want to engage in the sports industry or develop existing businesses in this sector,” he said.
