The Malaysia Co-Investment Fund (MyCIF) released its Annual Report 2021, with co-investments since inception amounting to RM357 million in 16,128 Equity Crowd Funding (ECF) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) campaigns benefitting 2,279 Malaysian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by the end of 2021.

The fund aims to continue aiding ECF and P2P financing in 2022, focusing on MSMEs related to the agriculture sector, which has been identified as being strategically important to Malaysian economic recovery.
MyCIF, a public-private co-investment vehicle administered by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) on behalf of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), has also generated a positive net return on capital of RM4.6 million since inception up to the end of 2021.
