KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Football League (MFL) has released ticket prices for the Malaysia Cup final, scheduled on November 26 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
In a statement, MFL said even though there is an increase in hosting costs, the ticket prices for the Malaysia Cup final will be the same as the FA Cup final on September 10 between Terengganu and JDT.
The ticket prices for general admission will be RM50 and RM70, RM150 for premium grandstand, and RM200 for the VIP grandstand.
MFL chief executive officer Stuart Ramalingam said the decision to maintain the ticket prices was made after considering the positive response from the FA Cup final turnout.
“By launching four tiers of ticket prices, I believe that it would give those who wish to watch the match in the stadium more options.
“The final process of ticket sales will be determined by the finalist teams as it was done before. This way, the tickets that have been allocated to each club can be purchased by their supporters equally and fairly,” he added.
Recently, MFL announced that the Malaysia Cup final will be taking place at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium due to its easy access to public transportation and the stadium’s large capacity.
During the first leg of the Malaysia Cup semi-finals, Selangor defeated Terengganu 3-1 yesterday, while Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) won against Sabah with a single goal. – The Vibes, November 17, 2022
