KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysia Day celebration in Sabah scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) will no longer take place at Padang Merdeka due to uncertain weather conditions, said Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew on Monday.
She urged the public to remain vigilant and prioritise personal safety in light of unpredictable weather patterns that may pose risks during the celebrations.
Liew, who also chairs the organising committee, expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their understanding.
