The NRES and the Department of Environment (DOE) will work closely with industry players to ensure a seamless transition,” NIk Nazmi was quoted as saying. The switch to Euro 5 gasoline, which was gazetted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in 2015 and is scheduled to be implemented at gas stations by September 1, 2025, is anticipated to spur improvements in the local automotive industry, particularly in the heavy and commercial sectors where modern vehicle technology is crucial. image is not availableThe quality of Euro 5 gasoline will also meet new standards for lead and sulphur, Nik Nazmi added.
