Malaysia's representative to Dance World Cup 2024 in Prague, SK Mutiara, to depart June 23

Kota Kinabalu: SK Mutiara's dance troupe, Mutiara Dancer, which represent Malaysia at the Dance World Cup 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic, will depart for the event on June 23, it has been reported.

According to Sabah Media, school principal Junaidah Yassin said the team will bring performances in four categories: solo male Murut dance, solo female Dusun Lotud (Giring-Giring) dance, Bajau Samah trio (Anak Samah), and group Bajau Samah performance (Pesorong Kami).

“The team will depart from Sabah on June 23,” she said for the event from June 27 to July 6.

Mutiara Dancer, reportedly having qualified in March, aims to showcase Sabah's rich ethnic culture to the world.
