On May 10th, 2025, Vanillicious delighted cake lovers and picnic enthusiasts alike by hosting its 1st Ever Cakenic — a charming blend of cake and picnic that brought the community together for a day of sweetness, sunshine, and good vibes. The event took place at Taman Botani, Putrajaya, a scenic spot perfect for a relaxing afternoon filled with indulgence and fun.
Guests were welcomed with an irresistible spread of Vanillicious’ signature cakes, from the ever-popular vanilla bean to new, innovative flavors like lemon-lavender and the rich, indulgent chocolate truffle. The standout moment of the day came when the “Cakenic Cake”, a three-tiered, beautifully decorated creation, was unveiled and cut in a heartwarming ceremony, allowing everyone to share in the joy of the occasion.
Beyond just cake, the Cakenic experience was designed to bring people together in a fun and interactive setting. The picnic atmosphere was complete with cozy blankets, floral centerpieces, and plenty of space for guests to unwind. Live acoustic music added to the laid-back vibe, setting the perfect backdrop for the event. Attendees could also get hands-on with their dessert by decorating cupcakes at the “Create-Your-Own-Cupcake” station, where frosting and toppings were in abundance.
Children and adults alike had a blast with the cake-themed games, which ranged from cupcake relay races to a “decorate your own cake” contest. The day’s fun was captured in the Insta-worthy photo booth, where guests donned edible flower crowns and pastel props to snap a few memories.
