Twelve new industrial areas in Seremban and Port Dickson are set to attract investors and contribute RM40.4 billion to Negeri Sembilan’s development value.

SEREMBAN: The opening of 12 new industrial estates is set to significantly strengthen Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) 2.0.

Covering Seremban and Port Dickson, the sites will contribute an estimated RM40.4 billion to the gross development value in Negeri Sembilan.

The Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, said the 3,477.5-hectare development would attract investors through parks like Hamilton City Industrial Park and Vision Business Park.

He also highlighted the achievements of Techpark@Enstek as a leading halal industrial park brand in the country.

“I am also proud of Techpark@Enstek’s achievements as a leading brand of halal industrial parks in Malaysia,” said His Royal Highness at the opening of the state legislative assembly. The ruler noted that Techpark@Enstek has been a HALMAS-certified park since 2010 and won the Halal Industrial Park Excellence Award for 2023 and 2024.

He said the halal ecosystem in Bandar Enstek would be strengthened through value-chain improvements including logistics. The launch of the Techpark@Enstek Life Science Park in December 2025 will further highlight Negeri Sembilan as a hub for biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

“Projects like this provide a strong infrastructure, opening up opportunities for strategic investments, the creation of high-value jobs, and the development of local talent,” he said. These initiatives support the federal government’s Central Region Industrial Cluster development.

Tuanku Muhriz also expressed pride in the state’s record RM19.1 billion in investment achieved last year. He called for intensified development in new industrial areas to ensure Negeri Sembilan remains a competitive national investment destination.
