Being an Anak Malaysia means people of different backgrounds share unique ideas. This mix helps groups find smart and new ways to solve problems. I love our unique cultural growth whereby neighbors learn about new traditions, foods, and holidays. This sharing builds deep respect and kindness among everyone. In a nutshell, diversity in a community brings together people with different races, cultures, religions, and life experiences to make the whole group stronger and more creative. I found a wide mix of diverse skills and talents helps the local business communities and workforce grow and succeed.

In this context, two regular readers, Zakaria Mohamad Nor (Pak Zak) & CPA Suppiah Subramaniam immediately responded to my story titled “Diversity in ensuring my social circle is socially, culturally, religiously & generationally diverse” published by newswav.com on Wednesday, 02 September 2026. For the benefit of our community, I like to quote Pak Zak who stated “Fully agree Bro Zul. Diversity is one of the most powerful accelerators for professional & societal growth. When we actively lean into variety, across different ages, backgrounds, perspectives, experiences, we build resilience and uncover hidden opportunities. The strategic national framework is about turning diversity into an actionable asset. Malaysia's multi-ethnic society functions as a complex, continuous best practices in diversity, bringing together distinct communities that maintain their unique languages, faiths & customs coexisting peacefully."

In support, CPA Suppiah aptly stated that, “Thanks for sharing this article on the importance Social Circles. I has enabled us to gain knowledge, It takes us away from home most of the time which is healthy when we age.” Yes, I agree inclusion makes sure that all people, have a say in local community rules.
I believe to promote diversity in a community, local groups must create inclusive public spaces, build representative leadership, establish accessible shared programs that ensure every neighbor feels valued and heard. Let's establish multicultural youth councils to empower the next generation of local leaders.
