Question: “What do you know about women?”
Kid: “A woman will make you angry, then she becomes angry because you are angry. Now you have to apologise for being angry because your anger made her angry.”
Sounds comical, but these are the innocent responses by children all over the world, including Malaysia. #MalaysiaKita2026 Malaysians have a rich, self-deprecating sense of humour that brings people together across different cultures.
Children under the age of six were interviewed on talk shows and innocently replied truthfully, with wisecracks making fun of their parents.
Question: “What else do you know?”
Kid: “A woman will block you, delete your number, and still expect you to contact her somehow.”
Question: “What? How do you know that?”
Kid: “Look, that's my mom.”
Question: “What happens whe https://www.tiktok.com/@little.angel4365/video/7670984799162584342?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pcn your mommy gets angry?”
Kid: “My daddy goes outside.”
Comment: “Really?”
Kid: “Yes. He goes out.”
Question: “Why?”
Kid’s answer: “He says he goes out for fresh air. It’s good for his health. My daddy is very wise.”
Question: “How?”
Kid: “He stopped arguing with mommy.”
Question: “Why?”
Kid: “Because he understands he can't win.”
Comment: “Your daddy is very smart.”
Kid: “A woman can say, leave me alone. And if you actually leave her alone, now she's angry because you left her alone.”
Question: “Who argues the most at your home?”
Kid: “My mommy.:
Question: “So what was your daddy doing?”
Kid: “Daddy gets quiet.”
Question: “Why?”
Kid: “Because he wants to survive.”
Come this Merdeka, Malaysians can laugh at themselves by embracing their unique cultural quirks, everyday frustrations, and diverse languages, and focus on unity.
