Building an economy for all means creating fair growth that shares wealth and opportunity with everyone. This inclusive approach focuses on raising our living standards, supporting workers, and protecting the country instead of only rewarding those at the top. I believe Key Pillars for Shared Prosperity, as specifically stated in theme of Merdeka 2026 (National Day) celebrations 'Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati’ should built on Stronger Worker Power by raising the floor for wages, protect workers rights, and build better paths to career growth; Basic Living Standards expanding the social safety net to help families with healthcare, housing, and food security; Fair Tax Systems by implementing progressive taxes to fund public services and reduce extreme wealth gaps; and Sustainable Business Rules by aligning company goals with public needs like clean energy and long-term community health. The theme reflects the nation's aspiration to shared well-being, unity and inclusive progress as Malaysians celebrate the spirit of independence. My team in Sejahtera Leadership Initiative (SLI) and Global Sejahtera, support the government that “Economic growth must be built on the foundation of a strong and secure middle class so that all Malaysians benefit from its growth. In strengthening worker power and economic mobility, we need to increase living wages, reduce poverty among working families, increase worker power & create pathways toward a stronger and more equitable economy for everyone.” (https://www.facebook.com/SejahteraLeadershipInitiative)

SLI considers in the past 69 years of our independence, we have both built our lives on the conviction that Malaysia is stronger together. Our economy is stronger when everyone contributes to it, and everyone can benefit from the work we do. Our communities are stronger when we all pull together to solve the problems & restore our faith in each other. Our country is stronger when we work with our friends and allies to promote peace, prosperity, and security across the country. Therefore, we must all be committed to compromise for a common ground. Debating these questions can make our country stronger.
