Kota Kinabalu: A report has been lodged urging the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate former Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal on how Benta Edible Oil Sdn Bhd (BEOSB) incurred huge losses of RM6.738 million two years in a row.

BEOSB is a subsidiary of Benta Wawasan Sdn Bhd (BWSB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd (ICSB), a commercial arm of the Yayasan Sabah.

Shafie who is Warisan President launched the State’s first palm oil-based cooking oil “Bess” in Tawau on Feb. 3, 2020 .
