Recently, a story went viral about a child from Palestine who called the Malaysian army 'Army from Hell' when interviewed by a journalist there, according to Murai.

A Palestinian journalist was walking with a videographer at the time, recording and covering the situation in the area. While walking, the reporter noticed a child praying and inquired of the child what he was asking for.

"I hope the Army from Hell comes to help us," the child remarked.

"Who is the 'Army from Hell,'" the reporter inquired.

"Malaysian national army," the child replied.

The journalist was taken aback by the child's response and questioned again, “Isn't Malaysia a good country and well-liked by the Palestinian people, why call them that?”

The boy stated that his father had told him that the Malaysian army was one of the best militaries since many countries were so terrified of the Malaysian army that they dubbed it the ‘army from hell’.

"That's why I pray that the army they call 'Army From Hell' will come to punish and eliminate the Israeli colonizers and liberate Palestine, 'the army from hell for them but for us they are our saviors'" the child said.

The account is related to a cinematographer who survived the bombing's casualties but lost his camera and the reporter who interviewed the child was killed.

Malaysia is well known to be one of the countries that are really vocal in condemning Israel for their treatment of Gaza. Malaysian's call for peace for Palestinian people has even made it into international news, Al-Jazeera. According to Al-Jazeera, thousands of people have gathered in Malaysia's capital to show sympathy for Palestinians in the midst of Israel's continuous assault on Gaza.

Protesters gathered in Kuala Lumpur's Independence Square on Sunday for a rally organized by the local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Viva Palestina Malaysia (VPM) and MyCare, who have organized humanitarian aid for Palestinians.

Many protestors wore the keffiyeh, a traditional Palestinian scarf, and carried signs calling for Palestinian peace and an end to US military backing for Israel.

The calm event on Sunday came after a more aggressive protest outside the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, during which protestors clashed with police.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has spoken out in support of the Palestinian cause, condemning Israel's assault on Gaza, which Palestinian sources believe has killed over 4,400 Palestinians.

"I don't have any choice because there is killing of young children and women," Anwar told reporters on Saturday as he ended up a trip to Saudi Arabia. Anwar stated that Malaysia would send 100 million ringgit ($21 million) in humanitarian relief to Gaza.
