Malaysia’s embassy in Abu Dhabi closes to the public on Monday, citing the regional security situation, with consular services moving online.

ABU DHABI: The Malaysian Embassy in Abu Dhabi will be closed to the public on Monday. The closure is due to the ongoing regional security situation.

In-person consular services will not be available during this period. The embassy announced the closure in a statement.

However, the consular team remains available via email and telephone to provide advice and assistance. The embassy said it would continue to operate remotely.
