
Kota Kinabalu: A Malaysian and Chinese national were arrested during an anti-illegal drugs operation Tuesday in Pasay City, Philippines.
The Malaysian suspect identified as “sing” was a former employee of a Philippine offshore gaming operator (Pogo).
“Sing,” was the primary target of the Southern Police District (SPD) operation.
The Chinese suspect, identified as “Chen,” was also apprehended after an informant revealed his involvement in the drug trade.

Read more According to SPD spokesperson Police Major Hazel Asilo, the Malaysian suspect was believed to have acquired the illegal drugs from a Chinese upline.
“Since Pogos will be banned in the country, they decided to change their line of work. In our suspect’s case, he decided to sell illegal drugs,” Asilo said.
