Malaysian Soldier And Another Person Killed In This Tragedy

Two men including a Malaysian soldier died while one more other person was seriously injured after being involved in a head-on accident at Jalan Shah Bandar, Taman Bertam Perdana, yesterday afternoon.

It was understood in this accident happened at around 6.20pm where Tan Kwang Sin, aged 56, who was driving a Perodua Myvi car carrying a passenger believed to be his wife.

The other victim, Muhamad Haziq Adnan, 22, who was driving a Proton Iswara Aeroback reportedly died while receiving treatment in the hospital.

Assistant Director of Fire and Rescue Operations Division, Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Penang, John Sagun Francis, said members of the Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene as soon as they received an emergency call regarding the incident.

“Accident involving Perodua Myvi on board two individuals and a man driving a Proton Iswara car.

“All three victims were trapped in the front and were evacuated by firefighters. The driver of the Myvi car was confirmed dead while the driver of the Iswara car died in hospital,” he said in a statement, here.
