While enjoying a leisurely game of golf at a golf club in Kuantan, a golfer was stunned to come across a dead body floating in a nearby pond.

The golfer found the body yesterday evening at around 6:45 pm and immediately called the Kuantan golf club manager to report the incident.
The manager then contacted the authorities.
Kuantan District Police Chief, ACP Wan Mohd Zahari bin Wan Busu shared in a statement that the police verified that the deceased male victim was of Malay ethnicity and had already dead upon their arrival.

Deceased entered the premises without consent
According to the golf club manager, the man was often seen walking along the beach and picking up golf balls within the golf course grounds.
He would occasionally be seen walking around the pond to retrieve golf balls.
The staff at the Kuantan golf club also shared that they did not notice the victim entering the premises, and it was only after the golfer spotted the body that the authorities were alerted.
The police have transferred the body to the Kuantan Central Hospital for further investigation, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
This tragic incident has shocked the local community and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with their investigation.
