
Kota Kinabalu: Most Mamak restaurants in Sabah, particularly in the West Coast, have agreed to start offering the Menu Rahmah – the new Unity Government’s affordable meals initiative at RM5 per plate – effective Feb. 15 (Wednesday).
Sabah Indian Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Nasir bin Yusof said many have volunteered to to show their support to the government that aims to help the low-income earners and the poor.
The basic dish would comprise rice, vegetable, chicken or fish plus a glass of cold or warm water and the serving time would be from 11am till 2pm daily.
