- He is accused of assisting Russian intelligence services through alleged contact with a representative of the GRU Volunteer Corps.
- Cammidge was arrested by officers at an address in Swindon on Friday, 4 September, before being formally charged.
- The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed there is sufficient evidence and public interest to prosecute the case.
- He is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 10 September.
