Kota Kinabalu: A 21-year-old man was charged with two counts of raping his underaged cousin.
The man pleaded guilty before Sessions Court Judge Amir Shah Amir Hassan to both charges against him on Monday.
However, the man’s sentencing was deferred to May 23.
On the first count, he is accused of raping the 14-year-old girl at 12.30pm on May 5 at a bus stop in Kimanis, Papar.

The offence under Section 376(2) of the Penal Code carries a jail term of between 10 and 30 years, and whipping, on conviction.
Pending the facts and sentencing, the man was ordered remanded further.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Al Hakim appeared for the prosecution while the man was not represented.
