
Kota Kinabalu: A 26-year-old was detained after he allegedly battered his biological 25-year-old sister to death at their home in Jalan Signal Hill, here, on May 4.
Their father discovered his daughter unconscious with severe wounds and a bloodied face at 4.30pm.
The woman was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but succumbed to her injuries at 10.30pm on Saturday.
City Deputy Police Chief Supt Kalsom Idris said preliminary findings showed that only the two siblings were at home at the time of the incident.
