BEAUFORT: A 30-year-old man here was arrested for setting fire to a car belonging to a man he believed was in a relationship with his wife, on Saturday, Info X reported.
District Police Chief Deputy Supt Ismail Abdullah said examinations of the victim’s car revealed that the passenger seat, seatbelt, steering wheel, dashboard, and roof lining were burnt.
Ismail said the victim suffered losses amounting to RM20,000.
