BEAUFORT: A 32-year-old man was arrested for allegedly possessing syabu here on Wednesday.
District Police Chief Yusoff Zaki Mat Yaccob confirmed the arrest in the old town here.
He said police on patrol arrested the man who was riding a motorcycle.
Police found a small transparent plastic packet containing clear crystals believed to be syabu, he said.

Police are investigating the case under Section 12(2) ADB 1952 and Section 15 (1)(a) ADB 1952.
