- Ponnachan faces six counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, one count of attempted grievous bodily harm, and one count of possession of a bladed article.
- Four of the injured individuals have since been discharged from hospital, with police describing their injuries as serious but not life-threatening.
- He will remain in custody until his next appearance at Derby Crown Court on 29 April, with counter-terrorism police having assisted in the investigation, though the incident is not being treated as terrorism.
