Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva admits he found the demands of Ligue Une more difficult than the Premier League.
Bernardo left AS Monaco for City in 2017.
He recalled to France Football: "I thought it was more difficult to play in France than in England, more physical.
"Maybe it's because we have more possession at Manchester City. It was difficult for me at the beginning, I had to get used to it."
Bernardo has a contract to 2025.
