Manchester City are edging closer to signing Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
ESPN says City are now close to completing the signing of the midfielder. The deal is said to be worth 35m.
There is a broad agreement between the clubs. Only details over the method of payment remain to be resolved.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also writes that Kovacic's transfer to City is close.
The Croatia international has a year to run on is current Chelsea contract.
