Manchester City assistant coach Manel Estiarte admits management are keen to ease the hype around Erling Haaland.
Haaland has been a sensation in the opening months of his Premier League career.
Estiarte told AS: "Perhaps such a strong start in the Premier is surprising, but it is not the time to elevate him or sink him if he later fails. This has only just begun, so we have to be enthusiastic and excited, but we also don't have to think that Halaand will score 70 or 80,000 goals.
"We have to take care of him because in the end he is a 22-year-old boy, although it is true that he has impressive physical abilities and talent for football.
“He's a very nice guy. Young but northern-minded, he takes things with less pain than Latinos like us. Neither great demonstrations of happiness nor great demonstrations of sadness. He has very good emotional stability for his age. Many months ago he had decided that he would sign for City."
