Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits adding a striker to their lineup has changed the way they play.

City were dominant in the Premier League last season, winning the league ahead of Liverpool.

However, the addition of Erling Haaland has not improved their results, despite him scoring 21 goals in 17 Premier League games.

Haaland drew a blank as City were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United on Saturday.

"At the moment we have that process because when teams are sat in their 18-yard box it is more difficult but we have to find him a little bit more, yes," he said post-game to reporters.

"He had enough touches [against United] but it's true that when you are looking at areas and you have to look at him. But we will do it."
