Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is delighted for former club Barcelona after clinching the LaLiga title.
Barca's derby win at Espanyol on Sunday confirmed as champions for the season.
Guardiola said: "The team had incredible defensive solidity, conceding very few goals; they were able to deal with important long-term absences such as Pedri's and the championship they won is more than deserved."
Guardiola then confessed that he had sent a message to Xavi and president Joan Laporta, but only the former replied.
He laughed, "Knowing Joan, I imagine he's still celebrating...!"
