Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has tipped striker Erling Haaland to win the Ballon d'Or.
The Norway forward missed out on the award last season, with Lionel Messi clinching the trophy.
While he may not have matched the World Cup winner for team honors at international level, Guardiola believes Haaland will prove his individual worth this season as well.
If he and his mates can win more trophies, then he will have a chance to win it," said Guardiola after Haaland scored twice in a 3-0 win over FC Copenhagen.

City had been concerned about Haaland's fitness pre-game, but he looked sharp and in fine form.
