Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hailed Erling Haaland after reaching the Champions League semifinals.
City drew 1-1 at Bayern Munich on Wednesday night after Haaland's opener was canceled out by Joshua Kimmich's penalty for Bayern after a late handball judgment against Manuel Akanji. City reach the final four 4-1 on aggregate.
Haaland has now scored in his last seven games in succession and has 48 goals in all competitions across 2022/23.
Guardiola said: It was a good assist [from Kevin De Bruyne]. He is there. The finishing from Erling is really, really good.
Erling is a threat, we know that.
The penalty showed personality. He missed but that doesn't matter because this is his competition."
He added: Everyone can do that in this kind of situation. He'll learn how to do it, how to take a ball, disappear, get out of the situation and then make the process, put the ball [down] and hit the penalty.
But he's 22 years old for him he's an incredible machine.
He wants to reach the semi-final but I'm pretty sure he'll learn in the future.
Next time he'll be there, he'll be more secure and he'll be more confident in the future to take the penalty."
