Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has sung the praises of Newcastle United defender Sven Botman.
Guardiola feels Newcastle are a title contender this season, as they showed with last week's win at Tottenham.
"I saw them against the Spurs," said Guardiola, "and it was great on both sides. Imagine this team with one game a week, with no European commitments. This team can compete for the title. With the manager, Eddie (Howe), the new players and the way they play."
Guardiola praised Botman and Fabian Schar for their performance.
"It was brave to let the central defenders play one-on-one against Harry Kane and Heung-min Son. And they had no problem with that."
