Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is upset with this weekend's schedule.
City meet Everton on Sunday, while Champions League semifinal opponents Real Madrid face Getafe today.
Guardiola said: "I'm pretty sure the Premier League wants to help the teams.
"Don't make them uncomfortable. It's the schedule. You have to adapt, so what can I do? We would have preferred to play Saturday. We have one more day to recover for Everton, we will have one less day for Real Madrid but we have more days to recover for the Premier League.
"How busy was the Champions League match on Tuesday? When do you win the game earlier, you feel better."
