Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has paid tribute to former captain Ilkay Gundogan.
The midfielder left City for Barcelona earlier this month.
"What can I say, it's been an incredible seven years together," said Guardiola.
"I have no words to describe my gratitude towards him. I wish him all the best for this new challenge in his life. Barcelona bought an incredible player, but that's life.
"Everyone has family problems. We tried to convince him to stay, but we couldn't. We wish him all the best."
