Manchester City coach Brian Barry-Murphy praised his players after their UEFA Youth League draw at RB Leipzig.
City fought from a goal down to earn a point on the road.
Barry-Murphy later told City's website: I thought we had good spells in the game but the first half we were under pressure for good spells.
And more than anything else I'm just happy with the personality of the team and the way we tried to attack in the second half while understanding that some of our play wasn't always fluid but very satisfying.
It's easier to say it's just another game but I sense the players can be quite nervous in these games because it's something different for them and I think we were a little bit tentative in how we played the game but in the second half we definitely stepped on the gas and I felt we were in control towards the end of the game and created good chances if not a host of them."
