Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji has explained his side's win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Citizens were rampant against their title rivals on Wednesday, winning 4-1 at home.
The result leaves City two points behind the Gunners in the table with two games in hand.
It's hard to say, it has been three different games," Akanji told football.london.
I think the first game was really even if I can say that.
We both played a good game and there was not a lot of chances and we scored the deciding goal but I wouldn't say that we were clearly better in this game.
So in the second one, it was a lot different to today, today the whole team played really good and had a really good team performance over 90 minutes.
We were strong in the duels, we were good with the ball and that was different to the game at the Emirates. Then we used our chances and we played well defensively and I think that's the key to these wins."
