Manchester City defender Nathan Ake says he's a better player for working with manager Pep Guardiola.
The Holland international is enjoying career best form this season.
Ake said, "Pep Guardiola has helped me a lot.
"Maybe it takes a few seasons for some to get everything clicking. For me it was like that. The first season was not the best, and my self-confidence deteriorated.
"The second season was better, I understood everything better - about the club and the coach. This season, it feels like everything has clicked. I have grown as a player and the coach has helped me a lot."
