Manchester City defender Nathan Ake has paid tribute to former teammates Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez.
Gundogan has left for Barcelona, while Mahrez has just signed for Al-Ahli.
Ake said, Gundo has been here seven years, and he's been an unbelievable player. The last few years I've played with him, and his quality is unbelievable. He's also a great captain, trying to be a role model for everyone by working hard every day and in every game.
The last few seasons, he was always the one to step up and score very important goals.
The same goes for Riyad. He's been here five years now, and the things he has done to win the titles he has have been extraordinary.
I think the club and the players will always be grateful for the things they have done. They were very loved, and we will miss them, for sure."
