Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol has singled out two teammates for praise.
The Croatian center half arrived for big money from RB Leipzig in the summer, having impressed at the World Cup in 2022.
The 21-year-old has played at both center back and left back for boss Pep Guardiola so far this term.
Asked by the club's YouTube channel about teammates who surprised him, Gvardiol stated: "Eddie [Ederson] and Rodri. If you talk about Eddie, because he is a goalkeeper and he's incredible with the ball.
"And with Rodri, because he is always in the moment, always with the ball and just the way he controls the ball it's incredible."
"Top class, true," fellow summer arrival Mateo Kovacic added in agreement.
