The Reds could spend up to 100m to land Sane, with former club City due a bumper sell-on fee.
Sane joined Bayern for 44million in 2020 and the Manchester Evening News says the Citizens installed a 10% sell-on clause in the deal.
A move in January from Liverpool has been suggested today.
