Manchester City defender John Stones will remain sidelined until after the international break.
Stones has been recovering from a muscle injury suffered in preseason.
The England international was on the bench for the UEFA Super Cup win against Sevilla, but isn't expected to make the pitch until after the international recess.
As such, Stones will be missing for Premier League games against Sheffield United on 27 August and Fulham on 2 September.
The next international break is held between September 4 and 12.
