Manchester City are in advanced talks with RB Leipzig for Josko Gvardiol.
The Croatia international has a 98m release clause in his contract, which expires in 2027, says The Sun.
City are now in talks with Leipzig about a realistic fee for Gvardiol.
The defender has been linked with several Premier League clubs over the past 18 months and came close to joining to Chelsea last year.
However, City are now regarded as favourites to sign the stopper.
