Manchester City have jumped into the battle for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Kounde is available from Sevilla this summer and the subject of major interest from Chelsea and Barcelona.
Mundo Deportivo says City have now joined the race for Kounde as they prepare to sell Nathan Ake to Chelsea.
City have held a long-term interest in Kounde ever since having a €55m offer in 2019 turned down by Sevilla.
For their part, Sevilla are happy to sell the defender to the highest bidder this summer.
