Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is urging skipper Ilkay Gundogan to stay.
The midfielder is off contract at the end of the month and wanted by Barcelona.
Ederson said, "I hope Ilkay makes the best decision for him and his family.
"I hope he stays at City, he is our captain and he is a very important player.
"I didn't speak to him about his future, but I'm confident that his home next year will be City."
