Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic is undergoing a Manchester City medical today.
Chelsea have accepted an offer from City for the Croatia international this week. City will pay an initial 25m rising a further 5m in bonuses.
The Blues are happy to sell Kovacic, who has a year to run on his current deal. No new contract extension was offered.
Over five years with Chelsea, Kovacic made 221 appearances, winning everything in the game, including a Champions League and Club World Cup.
Kovacic arrives at City just as Ikay Gundogan departs for Barcelona.
